Village September 2017 Minutes

September 13, 2017

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Tate, Burns, P. Olk, L. Olk, Gauthier, Wolford
Absent: Seamon

Meeting called to order by Mayor Jerry Burns with the Pledge of allegiance at 7:00 p.m. Motion by P. Olk, support by Maksimchuk to accept the minutes, motion carried. Motion by Maksimchuk, support by P. Olk to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Public Comments – Deb Collins present top discuss property next door to her property. Also from audience, questions in regards to noise ordinance, semi-braking, loitering and enforced speed limits.

Schnell’s service’s present to discuss dumping in the leaves bin that the Village pays for every year. People are abusing it. Brian Ridley from Car Wash was present to discuss some updates and repairs to car wash.

Police, DPW and Zoning Reports are on file. Sara Talbot, from Andrews, Hooper and Pavlik, PLC presented a draft to council of Village Audit. Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Wolford to accept the audit, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Burns, support by Maksimchuk to have a Special Meeting to discuss options for rate increase on sewer and discuss SAW grant in
general. Meeting will be September 27 at 6:00 p.m., motion carried. Motion by Wolford, support by Maksimchuk to allow the Nazarene Church
to install a door bell, motion carried.

Discussed purchase of building on Orchard Street.

Motion by Gauthier, support by P. Olk to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all
yeas, motion carried.
