Present: Maksimchuk’s, Ustishen, Tate, Gauthier, Besaw, Seamon, S. Birchmeier
Absent: L. Olk

Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of allegiance.

Motion by Gauthier, Support by Besaw to accept the March meeting minutes, motion carried.

Motion by Ustishen, support by Seamon to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

No Public Comments

Bid for August Meadows opened….Motion by Seamon, support by Ustishen to award the August Meadow Street Project to Ace-Saginaw Paving Company for a cost of $155,500.00, Contingent on funding from DDA, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Birchmeier, support by Besaw to adopt Traffic Control Order #2020-0001, discussion, motion carried. Placements of signs discussed.

Motion by Gauthier, support by Besaw to adopt Capitalization policy with an amount of $2,500, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion to approve April Treasurer’s report by Birchmeier, support by Besaw, motion carried.

Motion by Besaw, support by Ustishen to amend our zoning ordinance in regards to blight that our zoning inspector recommends a $250 fine if cleanup is not complied within 7 days. After 7 days, Village personnel will clean up property and any costs incurred will be placed on tax bill if not paid, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Besaw, support by Seamon, to fix the DPW truck with a cost estimate of $1,500, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

DPW, Police reports on file.

Motion to pay all the bills by Birchmeier, support by Besaw, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Declare meeting adjourned at 7:40 pm.
