Village March 2023 Minutes

March 8, 2023

Present:  Mills, Gauthier, Birchmeier, Olk, Seamon, McCormic, Ustishen  Absent:  Maksimchuk

Meeting called to order by mayor McCormic at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of allegiance.  Motion by Seamon, support by Birchmeier to accept the minutes, motion carried.  Motion by seamon, support by Olk to accept the Treasuer’s report, motion carried.

Public Comments, The new owners of Tafoya Hall were present to introduce themselves to Council.  The new owners have renamed the hall to Rustic Meadows.

Silver Smith GPS Software system made a presentation to the Village Council.  Motion by Birchmeier, support by Gauthier to buy the software, tablet & data for $5,750.00, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Gauthier to give Officer Garcia a $1.00 per hour raise and promote him to Sargent, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Council would like an article put in the Tri-County Citizen explaining that we have applied for a Safe Route to School Grant.

Motion by Olk, support by Birchmeier to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
