Village March 2021 Minutes

March 10, 2021

Present:  Maksimchuk’s, L. Olk, Besaw, Seamon, Tate, S. Birchmeier, Ustishen, Absent:  Gauthier

Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Besaw ,Support by Ustishen To accept the minutes, motion carried.  Motion  by L. Olk, Support by Besaw To accept the Treasurer’s Report, Motion carried.

Village Council Mayor presented to Retiring Police Chief Allen a plaque for his 25 years of service and dedication to the Village of New Lothrop with the last 10 years as Chief of Police.  Police Chief Allen was also presented a plaque from the police department.

Motion by L. Olk, support by Ustishen to recommend the hiring of Kirt Bierlein as Chief of Police, L, Olk and Ustishen amended their motion to include at the pay rate of $16 per hour, discussion, Roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Police, DPW and Zoning reports on file. 

Motion by Seamon, support by Besaw to no longer require the Village to pay a water and sewer bill for the Pavillion/Park and Village Building, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Discussed drainage issue at Bernie Andres property.

Motion by L. Olk, support by Ustishen to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Declared meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
