Village March 2017 Minutes

March 8, 2017

Present: Maksimchuk, Burns, L.Olk, Wolford, Gauthier
Absent: P. Olk, Seamon

Meeting called to order by Mayor Jerry Burns at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion by Wolford, support by Gauthier to accept the minutes, motion carried.

Motion by L. Olk, support by Gauthier to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Police, DPW and Zoning Reports on file.

Consensus of Council was to donate/get rid of items in back storage room.

Motion by Burns, support by Maksimchuk to eliminate the position of Deputy Police Chief, motion carried.

DPW has been working on water reliability study that is required by the DEQ. Working with Michigan Rural Water for a cost less than $1,000.00. Quote from engineering firm, Fleis and Vanderbrink was for $10,000.00.

Question in regards to tap in fees for Kozlowski property.

Motion by L. Olk, support by Maksimchuk to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
