Village December 2020 Minutes

December 9, 2020

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Tate, Seamon, Gauthier, Besaw, L. Olk, Birchmeier. Absent: Ustishen

Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion by Seamon, support by Besaw to accept the minutes, motion carried. Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried. Spicer Engineer, Steve Rukowski explained final bill from SAW grant. Also explained possible water grant, Drinking Water Asset Management program. Motion by Gauthier, support by Besaw to approve $2,500 for Spicer Engineering to proceed with grant application, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried, Motion by Birchmeier, support by Besaw to approve the recommendation from Bob Delaney, our Zoning Administrator to allow the property at 8260 New Lothrop Road for the extra 300’ square feet that is for an accessory building, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Police, DPW And Zoning reports on file.

Motion by Besaw, support by Seamon to charge $40 for 45 solar panels for the permit fee for property at 9390 Genesee Street, discussion, roll call vote, , Birchmeier abstain, rest yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Birchmeier, support by Olk to give DDA permission to fund and finish Main Street road project on Village easements at Schnell’s, Dunklee and Besaw properties, discussion, subject to DPW Superintendent, Al Ayres inspecting project, Birchmeier amended his motion to include repair of existing storm drains and fund the repairs also, Seamon supported amendment, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Committee meeting to be posted for January 13, at 6:00 to discuss employee pay raises.

Motion by Olk, support by Birchmeier to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
