June Village 2025 Minutes

June 11, 2025 

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Tate, Wolford, Birchmeier, Besaw Absent: Olk, Ustishen, Gauthier 

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Andy Wolford. Motion by Besaw, support by Maksimchuk to accept the minutes, Motion carried. Motion by Besaw, support by Birchmeier to accept the Treasurer’s report, Motion carried. 

Police, DPW, DDA and Zoning Reports on file 

Motion by Birchmeier, support by Besaw to allow each full 

time DPW employee $150.00 clothing allowance per year, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried. 

Resolution will be drafted by the Village Attorney for next meeting in regards to Saginaw Street property. Resolution possibly for Beech Street Property if Safe Route to School grant requires a sidewalk across driveway. Property is grandfathered in from original sidewalk grant, sidewalk does not cross the driveway. Update from Street Commissioner on safe routes grant and sidewalks proposed. Project will begin Spring of 2026 Motion by Maksimchuk support by Besaw, to amend Street budget repair and maintenance to increase it $10,500.00, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried. Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Besaw to do Main Street 

Project, $110,000.00 funded by DDA, roll call vote, all 

yeas, motion carried. 

Motion by Maksimchuk to pay all the bills, support by Besaw, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried. Declared meeting adjourned at 7:39 p.m.
