December Village 2025 Minutes

January 14, 2026

Present:  Maksimchuk’s Tate, Birchmeier, Ustishen, Besaw,Olk, Gauthier  

Absent:   Wolford

Meeting called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem, John Maksimchuk at 7:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to accept the minutes, motion carried.  Motion by Ustishen, support by Olk, to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Police, DPW, & Zoning reports are on file

Desk update, DDA will contribute $2,000.00 towards the desk for Clerk, consensus of council is we will go ahead with desk with adjustments to eliminate a section and the cupboards and it will bring the price down, we can always add to desk in future.

Motion by Besaw, support by Ustishen to give the Village Attorney a flat rate fee of $3,000.00 annually, discussion, motion carried.

Discussed a past due water customer, Attorney will look into options.

Motion by Birchmeier, support by Olk to increase water bills ready to serve fee 10%, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Besaw, support by Olk to pay all the bills, roll call vote, motion passed.
