December DDA 2025 Minutes

NEW LOTHROP DDA MEETING MINUTES

                               DECEMBER 17, 2025

Present: Pete Stewart, Mark Birchmeier, Tammy Schiefer, Taylor Copes, Skip McCormic, Cindy Kinsey, Jody Greenwood, Mike Milks, John Ryan-Attorney              Absent: Andrew Wolford

Meeting called to order: 6:30 PM

Pledge of Allegiance

Pete made a motion to approve the November Meeting Minutes. Second by Skip. All ayes, motion carried.

Jody made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report for November. Second by Cindy All ayes, motion carried. 

Special Guests:  None  

Old Business:   Holly Jolly Eve was a success with several people, even with the cold temperatures and the windy weather. Cindy plans on doing Holly Jolly Eve again next year but will need lots of volunteers. Cindy requested to have a debit card to use for the purchase of games and other items needed for Holly Jolly Eve. Christmas Decorations in town: Looking for a different company with better decorations for next year. Update to Handicap Parking ramp in town: Jody mentioned that the village may get this completed in the spring or summer.  

New Business: Village requested the DDA to pay half of the funds for the clerk’s office remodeling. Mark made a motion for the DDA to pay up to $2000 for the clerk’s office updates, providing the village to match half of the funds. Second by Skip. Row call vote, unanimous, motion carried.  

Mike made a motion to pay the invoices. Second by Tammy. Row call vote, unanimous, motion carried.
