Village July 2021 Minutes

JULY 14, 2021

PRESENT:  Maksimchuk’s,  Birchmeier, Ustishen, Tate, Gauthier, Besaw, Olk, Seamon (via telephone)

Meeting called to order by Mayor John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of allegiance.  Motion by Gauthier, support by Besaw to accept the minutes, motion carried.

Motion by Besaw, support by Ustishen to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.  

Adaptive Technology Solution representatives were present to discuss proposal and will get with us for a new quote.

Police, DPW and Zoning Reports are on file.

Tree Removal requests discussed, Mayor will notify property owners of council census.

Motion by Birchmeier, support by Olk to take water Cd’s that are cashed in and to amend repair and maintenance budget to include cashed in CD’s of $41,700, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.  (Seamon did not vote). Motion by Birchmeier, support by Besaw to raise water bills $5 per bill, discussion, roll call vote, Besaw yes, Birchmeier yes, Ustishen no, Olk yes, Gauthier no, Maksimchuk no, motion failed.  Will place on agenda next month.

Motion by Besaw support by Birchmeier to allow the Downtown business’s to use the Village parking lot for a cruise in, motion carried.

Motion by Gauthier, support by Besaw to pay all bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
