Village April 2018 Minutes

April 11, 2018

Present: Maksimchuk’s, Seamon, Tate, Gauthier, Burns
Absent: L. Olk, P. Olk, Wolford

Meeting called to order at 7:00p.m. with the Pledge of allegiance.

Motion by Seamon, support by Gauthier to accept the minutes, motion carried.

Motion by Gauthier, support by Seamon to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Public Comments- Deb Collins was present to ask about burned out property next to her. Zoning administrator and Village President are to inventory all articles/items to be removed from property.

Carolyn Birchmeier from TTA was present to explain their situation on competing with competitive wages and other Ambulance services enticing our EMT’s away with higher wages and Insurance. TTA has asked Hazelton Township to increase from $50 per household to $100 per household annually on the next ballot special assessment. The increase will be designated for wages only. TTA is asking our board for support.

Spicer Engineering was present to discuss agreement for design specs. Motion by Maksimchuk, support by Gauthier to accept the agreement with Spicer’s for design specs and engineering for the Sanitary Sewer Transmission Main replacement project, discussion, Roll Call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Police, DPW and Zoning Reports on file.

Commission Reports

Motion to pay all the bills by Maksimchuk, support by Gauthier, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
