May DDA 2024 Minutes

May 16, 2024 – New Lothrop DDA Minutes 

Members present:  Pete Stewart, Dave Schnell, Mark Birchmeier, Tammy Schiefer, Kayla McCormic, Charles McCormic (Skip).     Absent: Zach Besaw, Cindy Kinsey, Taylor Copes                                            Meeting started at 6:46 PM

Pledge of Allegiance

1. Pete made a motion to approve the meeting minutes for April. Second by Dave. Unanimous, motion carried.
2. Pete made a motion to approve the treasurer’s reports for March & April. Second by Tammy. Unanimous, motion carried.
3. Special Guest & Comments:  None
4. Old Business:  Dave fixed the signs coming into the town. The flowers are in and will be put up this weekend. Basketball Courts: Kayla will draw up plan and propose to the school.   
5. New Business: Steets downtown: cracks need to be sealed and then lines painted. Certificates at The State Bank maturing 5/19/2024. Mark made a motion to renew the 3 certificates for 365 Days at the Public Funds Deposit Rate. 4.85%/4.94% APY. Second by Dave. Row call vote. Unanimous, motion carried.  
6. Kayla made a motion to pay the invoices. Second by Mark. Row call vote. Unanimous, motion carried.
