December Village 2023 Minutes

December 13, 2023

Present:  Maksimchuk, Tate, Mcormic, Seamon, Olk, Mills, Gauthier

Absent: Birchmeier, Ustishen, 

Meeting called to order by Mayor Skip McCormic at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Motion by Olk, support by Gauthier to accept the minutes, motion carried.  Motion by Olk, support by Gauthier to accept the Treasurer’s report, motion carried.

Caroline Wilson, County Clerk was present to discuss the 9 day early voting that recently passed.  New Veteran’s building in Corunna is where the early voting will take place.

Debbie Josling, 9474 Ash Street was present to discuss water damage in her basement 4-5 years ago and possible reimbursement.  

Police, DPW, Zoning and DDA reports on file.

Safe Routes to School grant update, the School has rescinded their motion to contribute $28,000 to project.  The project is no longer active.  The grant would’ve been for $951,000.00.  

Motion by Olk, support by Mills to renew the Web agreement with Taylor Copes, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Mills to  switch computer companies from Advanced technologies to Patrick Rodda and accept his quote, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Mills, support by Gauthier pay all bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
