May Village 2026 Minutes

Present:  Maksimchuk’s, Tate, Birchmeier, Olk, Gauthier, Besaw

Absent:  Ustishen

Meeting called to order by Mayor Pro-tem John Maksimchuk at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion by Olk, support by Birchmeier to accept the minutes, motion carried. Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to accept the Treasurer’s Report, motion carried.

Public Comments  

Public Hearing for Variance requesting a lot dimension change for Twin Township Property. Motion by Olk to approve the variance for the lot dimension change for Twin Township Ambulance Property, support by Besaw, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Police, DPW, and Zoning reports on file.

Police Chief thanked DDA for buying a new vest for our new officer.

Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to approve the Lot dimension change for the Twin Township Ambulance property, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Birchmeier to split the lot owned by Adam Johnson  between Johnson and Dionne Robson, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Besaw to rezone the agriculture/open space property owned by Mark Birchmeier to R-M-1 Multi family, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Olk, support by Birchmeier to accept the bid from Rieth Riley Construction for Saginaw Street project, discussion, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.

Motion by Birchmeier, support by Olks to pay all the bills, roll call vote, all yeas, motion carried.
